The wedding took place on June 29, 1922. The three participating Dallas radio stations were: WFAA, A. H. Belo & Company-Dallas Morning News (minister Rev. Thomas H. Harper); WRR, City of Dallas (groom John Henry Stone); and WDAO, Automotive Electric Company (bride Mabel Inez Brady)
