Court of King's Bench - Public domain medieval manuscript

An illuminated manuscript of the Court of King's Bench in session. The accused are standing at the "bar" of the court, with legs in chains. Five court officials are identifiable by the staffs of office they hold. In the centre an accused pleads his case with feet chained together.
