Col. Willard A. Buhl, commanding officer, 5th Marine Regiment, presents a gift to senior officers of the United Arab Emirates Presidential Guard during the their visit at the 62 Area mess hall, March 8. The visit to “The Fighting Fifth” is part of UAE’s effort to build the foundation of their newly established Presidential Guard’s training regimen and military capabilities. UAE Presidential Guard officers also learned about weapon systems with 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment Marines and toured the infantry immersion trainer.
