SAN DIEGO (Dec. 13, 2018) Cmdr. Don Biadog, chaplain at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, escorts the casket containing Chief Quartermaster Raymond Chavez, previously the oldest survivor of the Dec. 7, 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, during his funeral service at Miramar National Cemetery. Chavez passed away peacefully in his sleep Nov. 21 at age 106. He was stationed aboard the minesweeper USS Condor (AMC 14) during the attack. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
