Clayton, Ind., native Cpl. Nathan Davidson, a fireteam leader with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, patrols through an alleyway in a residential area during the opening phase of Operation Double Check. Fox Company Marines, Afghan National Police and Afghan National Security Force personnel cleared Khwajadad and other areas of southern Musa Qal’eh district during the first phase of the operation to rid the area of insurgents.
