Civilian Conservation Corps Camp 1937

The CCC camp in the badlands of Scotts Bluff was built in 1935 and was dismantles in 1939. The camp was home for enrollees for six months or longer if they reenrolled. There were sports, a newspaper, academic classes and various activities to engage in when they were not working.
