Chocolate Pot And Lid (Germany), mid-18th century (CH 18175523)

Pear-shaped body; scrolled strap handle, bracketed lip; domed cover with knob of flower in relief. Body yellow, with two shaped panels, outlined in brown, of white reserve with bouquets of flowers; smaller panels on cover. Handle and lip white, with touches of pink on modelled decoration of shells and imbrication.
