(Nov. 07, 2013) Chief Electronics Technician Joseph McQuiggan, assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) holds his son after the ship returns to Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. Carter Hall is returning after an eight-month deployment supporting maritime security operations, crisis response, theater security cooperation and providing a forward naval presence in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility.
