Daniel Clark, Pearl Harbor Memorial Chapel, delivers remarks during an ash-scattering ceremony for Pearl Harbor survivor John "Spike" Wallin at the USS Utah Memorial on Ford Island, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Wallin was stationed aboard the destroyer USS Monaghan (DD 354) during the 1941 Japanese attacks on Pearl Harbor. His ashes joined the remains of Sailors still aboard USS Utah, which was sunk during the 1941 attack.
