Original Caption: The "Fighting 69th" leaves for the Camp of the Rainbow Division. The 69th Regiment Infantry N.Y.N.G. (now the 165th Infantry) the first New York regiment picked for service abroad, marching down Madison Avenue, New York City, on its way to camp where with the other troops of the Rainbow Division it remained until it was ordered across. Aug. 20, 1917.
