Centennial of Naval Aviation's 2011 celebration
Summary
A unique T-34 "Turbo Mentor" passes in front of several other T-34's painted in the current orange and white colors. The aircraft's grey and yellow paint scheme, with Marine markings, are a part of the Centennial of Naval Aviation's 2011 celebration. At least one aircraft of each type in the Navy inventory will be painted to replicate a design from aviation history. This version dates back to the 1930's, and is the fourth historically painted aircraft received by Naval Air Station Whiting Field. (Photo by: 2nd Lt. Molly LeBlanc)
