CARY, N.C. (Oct. 19, 2006)  Sailors assigned to the Virginia-class nuclear-powered fast-attack submarine NORTH CAROLINA (SSN 777) participate in a Habitat for Humanity project as a part of Navy Week. Throughout the week, Sailors also passed out NORTH CAROLINA ball caps to children at Duke Children's Hospital, served lunch at an area soup kitchen, and read stories to children at a local library. Navy Week is sponsored by the Navy Office of Community Outreach and is coordinated with local recruiting districts.
