The Canadian ships, HMCS Athabaskan (DDH 282) and HMCS Ville De Quebec (DDH 332), arrived in Pensacola, Fla., earlier in the week to drop off relief supplies before arriving in Mississippi. The Navy's involvement in the Hurricane Katrina humanitarian assistance operations are led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense.
