CAMP GRAYLING, Mich. – Two Amphibious Assault Vehicles provide suppressive fire for U.S. Marines with Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve at a multi-purpose range complex within the Camp Grayling Joint Maneuver Training Center, Michigan on Aug. 1, 2017. The purpose of the reinforced platoon attacks was to suppress enemy positions in order to breach and clear obstacles and allow movement toward the objective during Exercise Northern Strike 17. Exercise Northern Strike is a National Guard Bureau-sponsored training exercise that unites service members from multiple branches, states and coalition countries to conduct combined ground and air combat operations.
