The negative belonging to this photographic print was annotated with "Beit Dedjan". Beit Dedjan (Bayt Dajan; Bayt Dajun; & other alternative spellings) near Jaffa that was depopulated on 25-04-1948 during Operation Hametz by the Alexandroni Brigade. It is believed to be the biblical site of beth Dagon. Today it is the location of Beit Dagan.Title devised from content by Library Staff.
