Jingdezhen Bowl with a yellow glaze
Summary
Two Bowls with a Yellow Glaze.
In the course of the 18th century the range of yellow hues was expanded. This came about through the introduction of new pigments from Europe. The glass workshops of the imperial palace in Beijing and the porcelain workshops of Jingdezhen experimented with these new pigments.
