Bowl with flared foot. On ground of cream-colored small crackle glaze, decoration in Satsuma style. Chrysanthemum near base with multi-colored brocaded patterns of birds and floral motifs in the panels. Continuous band of city street scenes with design at rim. Interior: center reserve of women and children, surrounded by fret band. Repetition of exterior chrysanthemum motif with great elaboration.
