(Jun. 07, 2007) Boatswains Mate 1st Class Larry Sherrill, aboard guided-missile frigate USS Vandegrift (FFG 48), watches a demonstration of the bowline knot from Leo Oates, a journeyman lineman for Clark Public Utilities. Vandegrift took aboard more than 100 passengers at Kalama, Wash., for the transit down the Columbia and Willamette Rivers to the Port of Portland for the 100th anniversary of the Rosefest Celebration.
