Basel, Universitätsbibliothek, A XI 61, f. 104v – Prayer and devotional book with the Office of the Virgin

This German devotional book was written by a single hand; it is from the library of the lay brothers of the Carthusian Monastery in Basel. In addition to the Office of the Virgin, which is at the beginning and takes up about half of the manuscript, this codex also preserves various prayers and other devotional texts.
Deutsch: Das deutsche Andachtsbuch wurde von einer Hand geschrieben und stammt aus der Bibliothek für die Laienbrüder der Basler Kartause. Neben dem einleitenden Marienoffizium, das rund die Hälfte der Handschrift füllt, überliefert der Kodex diverse Gebete und weitere Andachtstexte.
Français : Le livre de dévotion allemand a été copié par une seule main et provient de la bibliothèque des convers de la chartreuse de Bâle. En plus de l’office de la Vierge introduisant le manuscrit, qui en occupe presque la moitié, le codex transmet différentes prières et d’autres textes de dévotion.
Italiano: Il libro di meditazione in tedesco è di una sola mano e proviene dalla biblioteca dei conversi della certosa di Basilea. Accanto all'ufficio per Maria introduttivo, e che comprende praticamente la metà del manoscritto, il codice tramanda diverse preghiere ed altri testi di meditazione.
