Summary
The women depicted in this plate wear dresses supported by very wide crinolines. Their skirts are flounced and the woman on the left is wearing a fur burnous (or hooded cloak). The women are dressed in very bright colors. The man depicted in the middle ground is wearing a haut-de-forme or top hat and tight-fitting, lightly colored pants, as worn by men during the day.
