Level crossing in Avenida Maipú, Vicente López Partido of Greater Buenos Aires. The train is stopped in Bartolomé Mitre station and the railway line extended to Delta station in Tigre Partido. The crossing had also four manually-operated gates.
The photo was taken on October 8, 1961, the same day that the branch was closed. It remained inactive until 1995 when the ramal Mitre-Delta was reopened, although a pedestrian bridge was built over the Avenue instead of the level crossing, in order to avoid traffic congestions.
