Area Support Group- Kuwait Safety team members; Eva Roberts and Staff Sgt. First Class John Best, of the 505th Engineer Company, mobilized with the North Carolina National Guard, leaned on his civilian expertise as a civil engineer technician to find solutions for ASG-Kuwait’s solar crosswalk project. He navigated through assembly and installation challenges and coordinated for safe and proper placement of the sets. The solar crosswalk installation is in response to results of a traffic safety study conducted on base late last summer.
