American Red Cross - Soliciting Funds - Public Gatherings - Gold mounted first aid kit presented by San Francisco woman to General Pershing. This gold mounted First Aid kit was recently auctioned in San Francisco at a Red Cros rally and brought $4,000. Mrs. Andrew Kelly of San Francisco, who finally purchased the kit donated it to General Pershing and C.J. Morgan, of the Western metropolis took the kit with him to deliver in person to the General. The two gold plates on either side of the cross show the names of each of the persons who paid $100 each to have their names engraved on the gift
