Afghan National Police Col. Mohammad Ayaz, Afghanistan Ministry of Interior forensic director, welcomes students and attendees to the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Afghanistan Criminal Techniques Academy and Laboratory, Parwan province, Afghanistan, Nov. 29, 2011.The academy will be the cornerstone of the Afghan Forensic Training Program, a four-phase plan that will train Afghan National Police from the five regional and national forensic laboratories in the science of forensics.
