A U.S. Air Force C-130H Hercules aircraft from the 96th Airlift Squadron, Minneapolis-St. Paul Air Reserve Station, Minn., flies over the Mississippi River, July 16, 2019. Aircraft number 23284 was painted with WWII invasion stripes in honor of the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Originally activated as the 96th Troop Carrier Squadron, the 96th, dropped paratroops of the 101st Airborne Division in Normandy during the D-Day invasion and flew numerous missions to bring in reinforcements and needed supplies during the war.
