Then by putting thenose to the junction so that each eye looks equally into each mirror, and,placing the pictures at right angles to a line drawn through the cen-tre of both mirrors and ten or twelve inches to the right and left, theimage for each eye will be presented to it, and the single coalescedresult will appear as a solid body, every part taking its proper placeand relative distance. If it is desired to obtain a print it may bedone by taking the wet negative just after fixing and washing, mois-tening a sheet of velox or other developing paper, applying it to thestill wet negative and exposing it to the gas-light or other light anddeveloped in the ordinary way. When fixed the prints may be laidon a piece of glass while still wet, and put into the stereoscope andviewed. If desired the pictures can be reduced to the size of the ordinarycard-mount for viewing in the regular refracting stereoscope. Intaking and in viewing these negatives and prints it is necessary to
