A Raqqah Culture Committee member shows photos of the Raqqah Museum after the defeat of ISIS to Coalition members during a tour in Raqqah, Syria, August 15, 2018. The museum was constructed during the 19th century as a garrison in the Ottoman Empire and was damaged during ISIS occupation of the region. Since the Syrian Democratic Forces liberated Raqqah from ISIS, the culture committee is once again free to plan restoration projects for historical artifacts and structures (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
