A Portuguese soldier assigned to the Training Team Brigade checks her target after firing the British SA80A3 during a cross-training exercise at the Besmaya Range Complex Iraq, Feb. 21, 2019. The Portuguese, Spanish, and British soldiers traded weapons for this training to build camaraderie between the countries stationed together at Besmaya. The Coalition trainers offer courses in areas as diverse as operational planning, counter-terrorism, logistics and sustainment, equipment maintenance, counter-IED techniques and law enforcement.
