A local Afghan assists U.S. Army Sgt. Marcus Sherbino, who is attached to the 3rd Battalion, 6th Field Artillery, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division in moving heavy equipment off a flatbed trailer to the ground. Soldiers from the 1st Brigade Combat Team are preparing to handover operations to the 170th Infantry Brigade. ISAF's mission is to provide support to Afghanistan in creating a functioning government and administration structure, while preserving Afghan traditions and culture.
