BROWNSVILLE, Wash. (Aug. 28, 2008) A deckhand from the Lady Washington educates chief petty officer selectees from the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) about how Sailors sailed the 90-ton merchant vessel during the 18th century. The original Lady Washington was the first American vessel to visit Hawaii, Hong Kong and Japan.
