(Jan. 5, 2021) Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Oscar Hernandez, attached to Amphibious Construction Battalion 1 (ACB 1), conducts a line check onboard an Improved Navy Lighterage System craft in preparation for the Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV), on NAB Coronado, Jan. 5, 2021. INSURV is a Congressionally-mandated inspection to assess the material condition of U.S. Navy vessels. ACB 1 conducts ship-to-shore transportion in support of amphibious operations around the world.
