180215-N-SF984-0429 PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 15, 2018) Gunner's Mate 2nd Class Austin Rye, from Hamilton, Ohio, left, Ship's Serviceman Seaman Natori Anderson, from Greensboro, N.C., center, and Sonar Technician (Surface) 3rd Class Eliezer Robles, from Los Angeles, assigned to Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105), conduct M240B machine gun shoot on the ship's aft missile deck. Dewey is on a scheduled deployment to conduct operations in the Indo-Pacific region. It will also support the Wasp Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) in order to advance U.S. Pacific Fleet's Up-Gunned ESG concept and will train with forward-deployed amphibious ships across all mission areas.
