170517-N-PD309-012 CHANGI NAVAL BASE, Singapore (May 17, 2017) Cmdr. Douglas Meagher, commanding officer aboard littoral combat ship USS Coronado (LCS 4), greets Principle Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Kristin French on the flight deck of Coronado during International Maritime Defense Exhibition 2017 (IMDEX-17). IMDEX-17 is hosted by the Republic of Singapore, and is one of the largest maritime exhibitions in the Asia Pacific featuring a trade show and a series of multilateral exercises and exchanges. Twenty-seven ships from 18 navies along with chiefs of navy from nations around the globe will participate in IMDEX-17.
