It was assumed, how- ever, that all major changes in the concentrations of both body fluids had occurred at the end of 48 hours. Urine concentrations were hyper-osmotic to high salinities. Blood and urine was isosmotic, except at 75% and 125 % sea water, where the blood was significantly higher (Table I).
