Die Exposition Universelle von 1889 war eine Weltausstellung, die vom 6. Mai bis 31. Oktober 1889 in Paris, Frankreich, stattfand. Das wichtigste Symbol der Messe war der Eiffelturm, der als Eingangsbogen zur Messe diente. Die Messe von 1889 fand auf dem Champ de Mars in Paris statt, wo bereits die frühere Pariser Weltausstellung von 1867 stattfand und wo auch die Ausstellung von 1900 stattfinden sollte.
