Samson. The illustration from the North French Hebrew Miscellany manuscript, based on Judges 14:5-6 shows how 'a young liion roared against him ... and he rent him as he would have rent a kid ...' Samson is portrayed tearing the lion's mouth, one of his legs resting on the lion's back as he tears its jaws.
