An evil spirit (kakodaimon) is depicted alongside the symbol of the evil eye. He holds spits, is horned (or winged browed), and has large, elongated members which trail between his leg. The evil eye is surrounded by a pecking raven, trident, sword, scorpion, serpent, centipede, and dog. It is a symbol of misfortune.
