The watershed or catchment area tributary to the Alameda Division of Spring Valley extends from Alt. Diablo inContra Costa County to Mt. Hamilton in Santa Clara County. Pleasanton is midway between the two. and theunderground supply of these valley acres is replenished by streams that send their unabsorbed flow to Alameda Creek.
