(2) At least 3 clialcid flies, Fachyneiiron altiscuta (How.) Eunohmlividus (Ashm.), and Coccophagus cognatus (How.) (3) Several species of lady-bird beetles. (4) A larsre flesli-colored species of larva was found feeding on the eggsbut we were not able to rear the adults. The Terrapin Scale, Eulecanium. nigrofasciatmn (Perg.) This scale was first discovered m Ontario in 1901 at St. Catharines. Upto the present time it has been reported to us only from St. Catharines,Walkerville, and Windsor. In each case the infested twigs forwarded weretaken from maple trees and these were literally covered
