Zusammenfassung
Gunnery Sgt. Bryon Bebout, der dem Joint Prisoner of War / Missing in Action Accounting Command (JPAC) zugeordnet ist, beobachtet bei Ausgrabungen in der Provinz Madang Wrackteile eines B-24 Liberator Flugzeugs. Bebout ist Teil eines JPAC-Bergungsteams, das die Absturzstelle des Flugzeugs ausgräbt und nach neun Amerikanern sucht, die noch aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg vermisst werden. Die Mission von JPAC besteht darin, die größtmögliche Rechenschaft über alle Amerikaner abzulegen, die infolge der Konflikte in der Vergangenheit des Landes vermisst wurden.
