Der Pyramidenkomplex Ägyptens besteht aus der Großen Pyramide von Gizeh (auch bekannt als Cheopspyramide oder Cheops-Pyramide und erbaut um 2560-2540 v. Chr.), der kleineren Pyramide von Chephren (oder Chephren) ein paar hundert Meter südwestlich, und der relativ bescheidenen Pyramide von Menkaure (oder Mykerinos) ein paar hundert Meter weiter südwestlich, sowie der Großen Sphinx, die auf der Ostseite des Komplexes liegt.
