The left flood starts with blue and green as inEpisode II; blue is gradually withdrawn, amber isadded, then green is withdrawn. The left floodstarts with blue with amber top, the blue iswithdrawn, and a second amber added. Whenthe cast leaves the chancel, turn the amber flood-lights on the altar, so that it is a blaze of light.If possible, have an amber spot light flood theprocession as it passes down the central aislesinging Alleluia! THE C^A^XEL OF THE SECOND UNITARIAX CHURCH, BOSTON It Has a Beautiful Mosaic Over-altar Decoration which is Used as /Background for the Christmas Pageant THE CO-ORDINATED ARTS of the nave and before the nave lights are re-stored. The terrifying darkness of noonday theblack night of the entombment, and the gradualdawn of the Resurrection morning are convinc-ingly portrayed chiefly by the use of home-madefloodlights made of sixteen dishpans, into thebottom of which five or six electric sockets havebeen fastened. Miss Weller describes the mak-ing of these lights as follows: Mount the panson sections of gas piping so that they may beraised and lowered at will. The handles of thedishpan may be bent to hold the wooden framesthat are made to carry the gelatin slides. Haveholes placed in each pan just back of the handles,so that the reflectors will be well ventilated, asheat destroys the slides.
