us, Mixed Colors—Xo flower in our conservator-ies last winter attracted as much attention as did a fewpots of this superb annual. Plants grow freely and flow-ers appear in large drooping racemes, and resemble somespecies of Orchid. Per pkt., 10c.Shoo-Fly Plant—It is claimed that flies will not stay in aroom where it is growing if they can conveniently escape, though what there is about it that repulses them is notclear, as the plant or flower has no odor. Aside from thismost remarkable quality it is a most beautiful floweringplant, and blooms in a very short time, (60 days.) fromseed. It is particularly valuable as a winter bloomer, the blossoms being large, cup-shaped, and of a lovelylight blue color with a white center. Per pkt., 10c.Verbesena, Occidentalis—Blossoms very, large, richestgolden yellow in color, closely resembling alCosmo?, andborne on long, graceful stems. Per pkt., 5c. One pkt. each of the IS sorts for only 75c. 22 JOHN LEWIS CHILD5, FLORAL PARK, QUEENS CO. N. Y.
