osaurus latifrons.—Frontal aspect of the imperfect cranium; from theLower Lias of Barrow-on-Soar. ■§■. nar, nares ; na, nasals ; prf, prefrontalfr, frontal; ptf, postfrontal; pto, postorbital; pa, parietal; st, supra-temporal fossa. The rostrum of the cranium is broken off immediately inadvance of the nares ; the orbital region preserves itsoriginal contour, and the parietal foramen and supra-temporal fossae are entire. The alveolar margins of thepalate are imperfect. Both the centra and arches of thevertebral column are preserved. No history. 38709.
