Ewald Heinrich Rübsaamen was a German naturalist who worked in the fields of biology and zoology. He was born on 23 October 1886 in Berlin and died on 18 March 1958 in Halle an der Saale. Rübsaamen was a professor at the University of Halle and worked mainly on the anatomy and morphology of insects. He published numerous scientific papers and is considered one of the most important entomologists of his time.of 61 years.
