Alle kanonene fikk navn etter tyske slagskip. Gneisenau var en av tre hovedskyts og kystfortet i Kiberg var derfor det største i Finnmark. I forgrunnen skimter man en plakat med Advarsel - Berøring livssfarlig og deler av et piggtrådgjerde. De to mennene er kledd i dress med skyggeluer på hodet og kvinnen til venstre har frakk og skaut.
