PRESIDENT'S YACHT, THE ELECTRA, NEWEST TYPE COAST GUARD PATROL BOAT, HAS BEEN TURNED OVER TO PRESIDENT FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT TO USE AS HIS YACHT. IT REPLACES THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE INSPECTION BOAT SEQUOIA, WHICH WAS TURNED BACK TO THE DEPARTMENT. THE ELECTRA IS 165 FEET LONG WITH A 35 FOOR BEAM. Disease makes ghost town of boy scout camp. Presidential order delaying the Boy Scout Jamboree for a year because of infantile paralysis in Virginia made a ghost town of the city of tents before the camp came properly to life. Trout flown to President Roosevelt. Washington, D.C., May 21. Erdorn W. Wood, 57 year old sportsman went to Mystery Pond, New Hampshire, swished 29 trout from its 75-foot dept and started to Washington and President Roosevelt with the catch. His newly constructed glass-bottomed boat drifted on the pond during a rain storm, while Wood, depending solely on fly-casting, hooked the Presidential meal. The trout measured from 9 to 16 inches.
