US Marine Corps (USMC) Corporal (CPL) Erin Black, Military Police (MP) Reservist, assigned to Females Searching Females (FSF) Detachment (Det.), directs Iraqi women and girls to line up in order to be searched in a quick and orderly fashion at Entry Control Point (ECP) 5, located on the outskirts of Fallujah, Al Anbar Province, Iraq, during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. The FSF Det. is an all female Marine augmented platoon established to have females search Iraqi females, since local Iraqi traditions prohibit women and girls being searched by males. This unit also ensures that all Iraqis entering through any ECP are properly searched while maintaining favorable relations with the locals
