428-GX-USN 1149090: Cold War, Soviet Ships. Pacific Ocean. A Soviet Kresta class guided missile armed destroyer leader and an “F” class large attack submarine. These vessels were units of a seven ship task group that cruised through the Hawaiian waters from September 13 to 15, 1971. Photograph released September 14, 1971.
