Petty Officer 3rd Class Michael Alter, a corpsman with a Police Advisory Team, holds a basic Pashto language guide during a Combat Lifesaver Course he assisted with Dec. 1 aboard Forward Operating Base Jackson, Sangin district, Helmand province. The course was taught by three Navy corpsmen attached to Female Engagement Team 8 and a Police Advisory Team, with assistance from the rest of FET-8 and the team’s interpreter.
